1975 Triumph Stag
Introduced in 1970 the Stag was conceived as a convertible Triumph 2000 but gained its own identity before production started. With several innovative ideas, e.g. aluminium cylinder heads, it was ahead of its time, but became a liability if the correct maintenance was not carried out. Over time these design faults were rectified, making a stylish GT convertible for todays roads.
Built 0n 26th August 1975 and compliance January 1976 our stunning white Australian delivered example comes with the original sales document and British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate confirming its originality. With an excellent service history, including such things as new tyres, SS exhaust, refurbished dash top, enlarged radiator (a must for Stags downunder), new water pump, electronic ignition, steering rack; and cylinder heads overhauled with new camshafts and hardened valve seats, springs and German pre-stretched timing chains.
In addition to the T top / Mohair soft top it comes with a hardtop, making winter driving a more pleasurable experience. If youve promised yourself a Stag sometime THIS is the one to get!
