1966 Jaguar S-Type
Taking one of Jaguars most loved Saloons, the Mark 2, and adding the independent rear suspension first seen in the Mark 10, resulted in the S type. Other improvements included the steering and heating/cooling system whilst the elongated tail increased luggage capacity.
Finished in striking Opalescent Silver Blue our matching numbers example was built on the 21st April 1966, and delivered to St Helier Garage on Jersey, the Channel Islands. Its early history is unknown, but it was registered in NSW in2011 and Tasmania in 2016. With some service history and an original workshop manual this car is an ideal entry for classic Jaguar motoring.
